Strive Helped Newcomers

Immigrating to Canada is not easy. Rising housing, food, education and life costs are making it more and more difficult for newcomers to achieve their dreams. Strive, in collaboration with Acces Employment, helped 100 newcomers build their financial resiliency.

Strive's online program helped newcomers:

  2. Explore how Canadians are growing their income and managing their money to achieve their goals

  3. Enhance money problem-solving skills

  4. Build an ecosystem for success

93% of participants found the program valuable or very valuable and focus group participants shared that the program exceeded their expectations. “While they were expecting to come away with more factual knowledge about finances, their experience in the program was much more transformative. The program also impacted their mindset and behaviour and gave them a sense of positive momentum in their journey to establish themselves in Canada”1.
